One Step Closer

The murder of George Floyd last summer sparked a nationwide reckoning with persistent racial injustice. We join our community members and many across the nation in the overwhelming relief at yesterday’s historic verdict as a measure of accountability and one step closer to true and equal justice.

The work to end institutional and systemic racism, discrimination, and prejudice has only just begun. And when it comes to education, workforce development, and economic mobility, there is a long road ahead. Chattanooga 2.0 remains committed to holding equity at the center of our work and to ending birth-to-career systemic racism in our community permanently.
