Molly Blankenship, VP of Talent Initiatives, Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce, has been appointed interim executive director of Chattanooga 2.0. Blankenship has a strong background in managing programs related to education attainment, talent development and diversity, equity and inclusion. In her previous role as the Community Advancement Manager for the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE), Blankenship provided consultation to chambers of commerce across the nation on education and talent development, and worked to stimulate the cross-sector collaboration necessary for true community progress.
As interim executive director, Blankenship will continue her work leading the Chamber’s talent and workforce development efforts, and will ensure that the important work of Chattanooga 2.0 continues under her leadership until a new executive director is hired. The search is underway for a new executive director who will lead the Chattanooga 2.0 coalition into the next phase of our community’s journey to ensure every resident reaches his or her highest potential in education and career.
