The 2.0 initiative focuses on bringing businesses, educators and the community together to develop strategies that will improve outcomes for students.
Achieving that goal requires leadership and input from our community, including educators, business partners, parents, and elected leaders.
Each of the 2.0 partners has an interest in improving the opportunities for our students, and this means an interest in the future leadership of our public school system. We have shared thoughts and perspectives from the community collected through our engagement efforts that we hope are helpful to our elected school board members who are responsible for the selection of the interim superintendent.
2.0 is in a unique position to offer authentic community feedback and insight; however, the 2.0 partners understand it is NOT their role to select potential candidates for any elected or appointed position. Our support is aimed at amplifying community voice in improving the skills, experience, and outcomes for all 43,000 students in Hamilton County public schools.
