Dr. Bernie Miller, pastor of New Covenant Fellowship Church, talks about church congregations sharing their skills to help kids keep up academically.
“Many of our kids, believe it or not, when they go to public school, they don’t know their colors — their primary colors, they don’t know their address, they don’t know their phone numbers. . . . .We had an after-school program at our church to work with some of these kids to help them…and I think we need all hands on deck.”
