Advocates stress importance of early childhood ed. with upcoming Chatt. mayoral election

Three years at Serenity Child Care has left a mark on Tiffany Earvin’s 5-year-old daughter.

“She started out as a shy little girl, and now she’s very comfortable with public speaking,” said Earvin.

For this reason, she says early education programs are critical.

Katie Harbison, President of the Chambliss Center for Children, says 80% of brain development happens by age three.
