Chattanooga 2.0 is excited to announce Dr. Andrew Hudson is joining our team as our new Director of Viable Pathways. Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in education and workforce development. Throughout his career, from teaching at an Ivy League university, to working as a carpenter on a construction site, to mentoring high school students, Andrew has worked to connect people with real-world opportunities for success.
Andrew will oversee and implement Chattanooga 2.0’s efforts to establish at least 10 viable pathways to prosperity for Hamilton County youth over the next three years. These pathways will be tied to local and future workforce needs and offer students not only a thriving wage starting job, but also opportunities for advancement and a clear career trajectory.
Andrew brings not only robust knowledge and experience in postsecondary and workforce development and supports, but also a history of and passion for championing opportunity and access. Andrew earned his doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania, his masters from Princeton Seminary and undergraduate degree from Lee University. He has deep experience mentoring and preparing students for four-year college and licensed trades, including experience working with high school and college students in Philadelphia and Quito, Ecuador.
