2-1-1 is a service operated by the United Way of Greater Chattanooga. If you experience lost wages due to the closure and need assistance with rent, car payments, food, etc – give 211 a call or send them an email.
There are many many early learning providers in Hamilton County who are a part of the Early Matters coalition. We will be hosting a job fair for child care teachers at which many of our partners will be available for you to talk to and ask questions. We want to do everything we can to keep your talents in early learning classrooms.

The Early Matters Quality Matters Fund (QMF) has many programs available to child care teachers, including FREE college tuition! If you live and work in Hamilton County child care, you are eligible for two free classes at Chatt State. And did you know? Two classes in early education is all it takes to get on the WAGE$ pay scale that puts money in your pocket twice per year. Learn more and apply:
